HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS

There are three high schools: ALLPS School of Innovation, Fayetteville High School, and Fayetteville Virtual Academy. ALLPS is a school of innovation. Fayetteville High School is a traditional, onsite high school. Fayetteville Virtual Academy offers instruction virtually with opportunities for onsite enrichment and student assistance.

ATHLETICS
The mission of our athletics program is to provide a broad-based program that will develop students' physical skills and abilities with focus on sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship, loyalty, character, integrity, personal responsibility and accountability with the help of excellent coaching and facilities.

FVA students may participate in athletics at their zoned school..

FINE ARTS
Fayetteville Public Schools has award-winning fine arts programs.  FVA students may participate in these activities.

Dr. Kristina Hudson

Dr. Hudson came to Fayetteville Public Schools from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she served as a teaching assistant for Louisiana State University and as the Director of School Accountability for the Southern University Laboratory School.

Dr. Hudson served as Ramay Junior High School Assistant Principal before the move to her present position as Executive Director of Secondary Schools. Dr. Hudson is a lifelong learner, quality instructor, and advocate for students and their families. Dr. Hudson’s record of improving student achievement while working alongside teachers has been an asset to Fayetteville Public Schools.

Dr. Hudson received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree from Louisiana State University. She also holds both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in history from Louisiana State University. Dr. Hudson taught in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System for nine years.
